End of Year Message of H.H. Giovanni Caporaso Gottlieb, Regent of Antarcticland

Dear fellow citizens of Antarcticland,

There are many changes in the state of the Nation, and I don’t want to be long-winded, so I invite all citizens to always keep themselves informed through the official website www.antarcticland.org.
2009 Has been a very productive year for Antarcticland and 2010 will be even more so.

First off, I would like to thank all citizens, Ambassadors, and Ministers who, with their work, have allowed important developments for the nation. Special thanks go to the Minister and poet Juan Octavio Prenz who, having reached the age off 77 years old, is leaving his assignment.
We have obtained a great victory in the field of sports with the current World champion of the Extreme Marathon, Modestino Preziosi , who has decided to run under the colors of Antarcticland.
In the fields of science an culture, “Save Antarcticland, save the Planet” the book regarding global warming that I have written together with H.E. Petter Johannesen has been presented in a preview showing in South Africa.
We have created the International Association of the Press (AIPA) in the sphere of promoting the freedom of speech www.aipa-press.org 
At this point, we are in the final stages in preparing the University of Antarcticland, www.antarcticlanduniversity.org, which has 12 professors and various long distance study programs.
We have obtained recognition of the State of Antarcticland by numerous political organs and institutions. The new model of international relations adopted by Antarcticland, which promotes an innovative definition of Nation and State, is bringing Countries that share our point of view together.
The Sovereign Order of the Knights of Antarcticland has formed relations with various knightly orders and created new Priorates; further information can be found on the website www.knights-soka.org.
The year 2009 has bee very profitable for the State of Antarcticland and 2010 will be even more so, and it is my personal desire and of the Ministers and Government Functionaries that it will be so for all citizens, and that this New Year can bring serenity to you, to your families and to our beloved land.
