The flag of Antarticland is shown outside all the public buildings and institutions on the 1st October, celebration of Antarcticland, for special events and for festivities, in compliance with directions issued by the Regent or by the Council of Ministers.
In Antarcticland the following distinctive insignia are used:
a) the flag of Antarticland;
b) the standard of the Sovreign Order of Antarcticland;
c) the heraldic coat of arms of the Sovreign Order of Antarcticland;
d) the seal or the stamp of Antarcticland.

Ordinary regulations about the use of flags
1. The flags mustn't be shown in a bad state.
2. The exposure of the flags outside the buildings takes place normally from 8 o'clock a.m. to the sunset.
3. The flags, shown after the sunset  must be lighted properly.
4. The national flag, hoisted on a flagstaff – in a public room – must occupy the honour place, on the right of the Chairmanship's table.
5. The national flag mustn't be used  for any kind of brocade or festoon or to dress platforms.
6. The national flag, in case other flags are hoisted on near staffs, must be hoisted first and lowered last.
7. No flag, stendard, banner or pennon must be placed above the national flag.
8. The flags of two or more States must be shown as follows:
a) they are placed on distinct flagstaffs  of the same height;
b) they must have the same size;
c) they must be hoisted on the same level;
d) the succession of more flags is established in accordance with the regulations of the single international organizations and, if not provided, it follows the alphabetical order, according to the first letter of the name of the State in the English language;
e) In case of a visit of foreign guests, the flag of the Guest State occupies the honour place – on the right – and,  if the flags are more than one, it is placed in the middle.
Flags shown as a sign of mourning
1. The flags, shown outside  public buildings as sign of mourning must be hoisted at half mast.
2. Two strips of black veil  can be placed on the upper corner of the flags hoisted at half mast as sign of mourning. The use of the two black strips on the flags is compulsory if the flags are used for State funeral ceremonies.
Use of the stendard of the Sovreign Order of Antarcticland
1. The stendard is  the emblem of the Sovreign Order of Antarcticland;
2. the stendard  can never be shaped like a flag but it must consist of a quadrangular cloth of one metre for two, coloured with one or all the tinctures of the coat of arms; it must be hung by a mobile pivot to the staff covered with velvet of the same colour, held by tacks placed in spiral, ending  with an arrow at the tip-end of the staff.
3. The stendard cannot be used without the flag, it must be  used with the flag which must occupy the honour place, on the right or above it.
4. When such stendards are used in official military ceremonies, their succession is established  by the territorial military authorities, responsible for the ceremony.

1. The coat of arms of the Sovreign Order of Antarcticland cannot be modified and the right of bearing it, is conceded only to  Princes and Knights.
2. The heraldic coat of arms of the Sovreign Order of Antarcticland belongs to the domain of the State.
3. The use of it by other parties must be duly requested and authorized by the Minister of the Interior, through his own specific permission.
